Lexus, KPGA to host inaugural ‘Lexus Masters’ tournament

Lexus Korea said on Friday that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Professional Golfers‘ Association (KPGA) to host the inaugural ’Lexus Masters‘ tournament for the 2024 season.

The Lexus Masters is scheduled to take place for four days, from August 29th to September 1st, 2024, with a total prize purse of 1 billion won. The tournament will feature a 72-hole stroke play format, with detailed information regarding the venue and other specifics to be revealed later.

Lexus Korea CEO Konyama Manabu expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “Lexus, with its pursuit of craftsmanship, shares a common desire with professional golfers who continually strive for excellence in their field. We hope this tournament will serve as a foundation for the mutual growth of both Lexus and KPGA.”
